The walls in this room were in a poor state. To keep the cost down on hacking the blown plaster off, wittick’s plaster’s PVAed all the walls and ceiling, a thin coat of bonding plaster was applied, on top of the bonding a mesh was inserted into the bonding. A further coat of bonding was applied, once dried two skim coats of multi finish plaster were applied. The mesh and the bonding when dry pull tight and hold all the blown wall in place, as well as very useful this method is also cleaner, cheaper and will last as long as new.
