This loft room in Enfield had wittick’s decorator’s scrim and fill all the walls and ceilings; scrim is a 2 inch wide mesh tape that will stick to the wall. The scrim is laid on top of cracks and given two smooth coats of filler, The scrim acts as a support and holds the cracks together so they never re appear. All the walls, ceiling, woodwork and radiator were sanded down.
